About Our Pulpit Guest - Rev. Andrew Apack Song
Andrew is originally from Hualien, Taiwan and came to the University of Toronto as a visa student in 1978. While proposing marriage to Ruth, who was on a student appointment to the three Native reserves around Virden, Manitoba as a vacation bible teacher in 1981, Andrew felt called to the Native ministry. Soon after returning from Manitoba, they were engaged, but Andrew decided to enter Knox College that same year as a part-time student and full-time the following year.

After graduating in May 1986, he was ordained in September. Soon after the ordination, he was sent to Mistawasis Reserve to serve a three points charge Native ministry around Prince Albert, Saskatchewan where they served for eight years. Since then Andrew has been ministering in three other places: St. Mark’s -Moose Jaw and Knox- Briercrest, Saskatchewan (1994-2002); St. Andrew’s-Dresden & Rutherford, Ontario(2002-2010); St. Andrew’s-Alma and Knox-Elora, Ontario (2010- 2014).
