  • Rev. Kirk Summers, Minister in Residence

    Ordained in 1987, Kirk's ministry has centred in serving as a minister of The Presbyterian Church in Canada at churches in Calgary, Alberta, London, Ontario and Trinity York Mills, Toronto, where in June he concluded ten happy years.

    Kirk is also a past certified long-term care administrator and prior to being called to Trinity in 2014 he served as the chief operating officer for a faith-based residential facility caring for those with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of cognitive impairment.

    Kirk's educational background includes an undergraduate degree in sociology (Wilfrid Laurier University), and graduate degrees in divinity (Knox College, University of Toronto) and philosophy (University of Wales at Aberystwyth).

    Kirk and Nancy have a family of Alex, Beth and wee Ethan, and Jamie and Rob.

  • Rev. Mark B. Gaskin, Pastoral Visitor

    Mark Bennett Gaskin, originally from Regina, Saskatchewan, later moved to Georgetown, Ontario, with his family. He pursued his education at Trinity College and Knox College, U of T, receiving his Master of Divinity degree in 1984. Mark served pastoral charges in Prince Edward Island, Exeter, Brantford, and Cambridge before retiring as the minister of Westside Church. He is married to Kathy, and they have three children and six grandchildren. Mark enjoys various hobbies, including cooking, making jam, playing the ukulele (knowing 12 chords!), and watching Tom Hanks movies.
